Buddy

Buddy found himself without a home after his previous owner passed away from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in June 2020. His owner's friend didn't even know he had a dog until he went to his home to check on things while his friend was hospitalized.

Buddy's owner's friend contacted CCONC co-founder Colleen for some guidance as to what to do next. Buddy needed to gain weight and strength before he could get neutered, but his owner's friend committed to providing him with the medical care and the forever home he now needed.

By October, after love and care, Buddy was well enough to be neutered. His new dad took him to SPCA of Wake County Spay/Neuter Clinic for the procedure and CCONC helped cover the cost.

Buddy fit right into his new home and his new dad also consulted a professional dog trainer to ease the transition. Buddy is doing great with his new family and with his guardian angel looking over him.
